This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client mistakenly chose to translate all the site (https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/#translating-your-whole-site-automatically). He asks if there is any way we can give him back his credits so that he can start from scratch and manually choose what he wants to translate instead of translating the whole site (https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/#translating-individual-pages-posts-and-other-content-automatically).

Solution:
Unfortunately, we are not able to refund translation credits that have been used already.

We also pay for these credits so once they are used, we have already sent our payment to the translation engine service.

Hi

As I was very excited to use the CMS multilingual, I mistakenly chose to translate all the site. But it is not needed. I want to decide what I would like to translate. I didn't touch on the automatic translation, and I want to preserve my original 90 000 automatic credits and choose what I want to translate in an automated version. Can you or I put myself on Square One concerning my credits to automatic translation?
Kind regards, Claudio Cordovil

Hi there.

From what I can see, you had 90k credits in total.

You assigned 60k to this site that you mentioned and used 29892 credits (30108 credits left).

If you are referring to a refund for the credits, unfortunately, we are not able to refund translation credits that have been used already.

We also mention this in our documentation here:
https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/automatic-translation-pricing/#refunds-for-automatic-translation-credits

We also pay for these credits so once they are used, we already sent our payment to the translation engine service.

I hope that you will find this answer helpful.

Kind regards,
