Hello Alejandro,

3. We uncovered a new issue in our testing where the category hierarchy not holding on the French site. We use Heroics to manage the categories. In the screenshot, 1) you can see the article hierarchy on the Dashboard and 2) the category hierarchy on the French site. Creation de Facture is not showing correctly as a sub-category hidden link

I hope this provides you with the information you need to take a look at the issues. Please let me know if you require any additional information.

Thanks again for your assistance.

Hi there. we will work with the category issue on this thread.

- You mention a plugin "heroic" but what does it do and how does it affect in the overall hierarchy?

- Also, where can i see its configuration on the staging site?

Let me know please.

Thank you for splitting the tickets into different threads.

Heroic is a plug-in to manage the categories, article order, etc. You can see it in the WordPress dashboard. Please see the screenshot below. hidden link

Heroic recommended WPML as the best solution for automatic translations.

Please let me know if any additional information is required.

Thanks.

Ok then we're talking about a normal taxonomy but coming from a custom post type. may i know in which KB article did you see this error? just one that we can use as a reference?

The individual article does show in the correct sub-category.

Sorry if I wasn't clear enough. I was asking for a reference article that had this issue so I could check both the back and front-end and further investigate this issue to try to find a clue about why this is happening.

Hello,

Here is the link for the article. hidden link

As I mentioned, the article itself shows correctly in the sub-category. The category taxonomy is not correct in French. I hope the screenshot below helps explain it better.

Please let me know if you require additional information.

Thanks again.

As i suspected, there was indeed a notification mentioning this issue and how to fix it which i also explain here: hidden link

If you run into this issue again, you can go to WPML > Taxonomy Translation, select your desired taxonomy and then click on the "hierarchy synchronization" tab. if there are taxonomies to sync, then you'll be able to fix them from that page.

Regards.

Thank you for the video and the explanation about the synchronisation of the taxonomy. It was very useful.

We have found some additional examples where glossary entries are not being recognised correctly. Can I include the issues on this ticket, or should I open a new one?

You have been very helpful in resolving the issues, and we would like to have you continue managing our issues if possible.

Thanks again!

Add them here, I'll split the ticket, don't worry.

Can you please tell me which part to check and in which article so I can check it's timeline?

If you happen to remember it, can you also tell me if you remember more or less when did you create the glossary entry?

Thanks.

Thank you very much for taking on the glossary issues.

I published a new article on June 5 hidden link

I also added the new glossary entries that are referenced in this Support issue on the same day. The issues are described below and also in the screenshot, hidden link

1. 'Quick WO' in the glossary, but not recognised correctly.
2. 'Quick IDT' in the glossary (similar type of wording), which is recognised correctly
3. 'Stages' in the glossary, but not recognised; instead, auto-translation shows in the article. I used the ATE to correct this content.

Please let me know if you require additional information.

Thank you again for your assistance.
