This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
Installing Contact Form 7 multilingual erased my existing forms from the back end, but I still see them working on the front end.

Solution:
This is probably an issue with the browser cache because the forms appear after using another browser.

This is the technical support forum for WPML - the multilingual WordPress plugin.

Everyone can read, but only WPML clients can post here. WPML team is replying on the forum 6 days per week, 22 hours per day.

Tell us what you are trying to do?
Translate my forms from Contact form 7. I see them on the site, but they are not listed in my contact Form 7 plugin ???

Is there any documentation that you are following?

Hi Patrick,
Thanks for contacting WPML support.

Please create a full backup of the database and website then go to WPML > Support > Troubleshooting page, and click the following:

- Clear the Cache in WPML
- Remove ghost entries from the translation tables
- Fix element_type collation
- Fix WPML table collation
- Set language information
- Fix post type assignment for translations

Let me know please if that helps.

Kind regards,
Mohamed

Hello Mohamed,

I did what you asked me to do, but I still do not see the forms in the contact form 7 listings.

I tried in a different browser and I see them, for some reason, Chrome did not show them to me.
