Problem:
If you're experiencing issues with displaying different language videos on different domain extensions using Woothumbs and WPML, and need to replace a video URL rather than uploading a new image in the WPML > Media Translation section.
Solution:
We recommend following these steps:
1. Navigate to Woothumbs > Performance and disable Image Caching.
2. Go to WPML > Settings > Custom Fields Translation and click on Show system fields.
3. Set the
_iconic_woothumbs_media
field to copy-once and save.
4. Access the Media Library, select the image, switch the language, and set a different video URL.
We applied these steps to a sandbox site to verify the solution. If this solution does not resolve your issue, or if it seems outdated or irrelevant to your case, please check related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verify the version of the permanent fix, and confirm that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If I create a staging site, is it enough to check the problem? On live we have But I dont think this will be if I create staging copy site of groomzo.nl, or can we somehow still manage to create sub url on staging? Like to hear your reply |
