This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client is unable to translate the string "YOUR SHOPPING CART IS EMPTY" on the cart page even after following the steps of updating the theme, installing necessary plugins, using Elementor to build the cart page, and attempting to translate the string via WPML's String Translation.
Solution:
We discovered that the string in question is considered an admin string, which can be customized directly within the WordPress Customizer. Here are the steps to resolve the issue:
1. Navigate to the WordPress Customizer.
2. Go to WooCommerce > Cart page > Empty Cart.
3. Save or edit the text directly in this section.
4. After saving the changes, go to WPML > String Translation.
5. Translate the string as needed.
If this solution does not resolve your issue, or if it seems outdated or irrelevant to your case, we highly recommend checking the related known issues, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If further assistance is needed, please open a new support ticket.
