[Resolved] Unable to send content for translation with latest WPML plugin
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: You are unable to send content for translation using the latest WPML plugin. Solution: First, ensure that your user account is assigned as a translation manager. This is crucial as having multiple translators and translation managers can sometimes lead to permissions issues. For more details on user roles and capabilities, please visit WPML Admin Capabilities. After confirming your user role, please try sending the content again by navigating to WPML → Translation Management.
If this solution does not resolve your issue, or if it seems outdated or irrelevant to your specific case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at WPML Known Issues, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Additionally, you can open a new support ticket for further assistance at WPML Support Forum.
This is the technical support forum for WPML - the multilingual WordPress plugin.
Everyone can read, but only WPML clients can post here. WPML team is replying on the forum 6 days per week, 22 hours per day.
Does the same issue happen if you do not change the batch name?
Before proceeding, please update your WPML plugin and add-ons to the latest version, 4.7.1, to benefit from the latest bug fixes and improvements. This may not necessarily resolve your problem; however, we must work on the newest code to troubleshoot the issue best.
You can check the latest released versions under "My Account -> Downloads" on this site. Instructions to update can be found here: http://wpml.org/faq/install-wpml/
If you do not see the updates, you might need to click the Check for updates button in the Plugins → Add New Plugin → Commercial tab.
Please remember to back up your database before you proceed.
Let me know if the issue persists after an update has been done.
I need to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site—preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible—in order to be of better help. Hi,
Sorry, we can't provide the details. You can let me know the steps so we can work accordingly to debug the issue.
Also, can we move this ticket to live chat so that we can resolve the issue faster.
Thank You.
Could you please check if your user is assigned as a translation manager? I noticed that you have multiple translators and translation managers, so it’s important to confirm this is not causing the issue.
