WordPress 6.7 has introduced a new issue that impact translations, please update WooCommerce and WPML to the latest versions before you report issues. More about this here - https://wpml.org/errata/php-error-wp-6-7-notice-function-_load_textdomain_just_in_time-was-called/
Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate URLs from English to French for blog posts. The issue can be seen on the following page: hidden link. Other affected URLs include: hidden link, hidden link, hidden link.
Symptoms:
URLs did not translate from English to French. Instead, I got English URLs with /fr-ca appended. This issue seems to occur only on blog posts.
Questions:
Why are the URLs not translating from English to French?
Is there a specific setting I need to adjust for blog post URLs?
While one of my teammates handles your ticket, I will provide you with the first debugging steps.
Have you translated those pages into French? When a page is translated into another language, the URL is automatically generated based on the title in that language. In your case, once the page is translated, the URL will be created using the French title.
Alright so how I am able to resolve this is translate the URL field in each post 1 by 1 it doesnt seem to be translating with the post. I then have to click save permalinks after each time. This is a very time consuming solution.
