This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client was unable to find the Global Footer layout in the translation management and the Header layout was not updating on the frontend after attempting to translate Divi templates.
Solution:
1. We asked the client to confirm if the steps they followed to translate the Divi templates matched the ones in our official guide: https://wpml.org/documentation/theme-compatibility/divi-builder/.
2. We requested the edit URL for the footer that the client couldn't find for translation.
3. We asked for temporary access to the client's site to investigate the issue further, reminding the client to back up the site before providing access.
4. Upon reviewing the provided access, we discovered that the footer was saved in English. We changed it to French, and it then appeared in WPML -> Translation Management.
If you're experiencing similar issues, we recommend you follow the steps in our official guide and ensure that your templates are saved in the correct language. If the problem persists, please back up your site and provide us with temporary access so we can assist you further. It's important to note that the solution provided might be outdated or not applicable to your case. If you're still facing issues, we highly recommend checking the related known issues, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins.
