Background of the issue:
I am trying to resolve an issue with the homepage of my site hidden link. The English version of the homepage suddenly turned into a 404 error. The page is still visible in the Pages section but is no longer synced as the English homepage. Additionally, when I try to recreate the English translation, the page appears under Pages but in Croatian. It does not show up in the English Pages section.
Symptoms:
The homepage (English version) is showing a 404 error.

Could you please help us resolve the 404 error on the English homepage?
I would like to take a closer look at the configuration and reproduce the issue. I have set your next message private so you can securely share the access credentials to the site. Please don't forget to create a full site backup before sharing the credentials.
I understand that, but this brings us to another issue. After clicking the plus icon, a draft is created, but the English language does not appear.
One more thing, until yesterday, this page was the landing page for the English language (screenshot) you can see the publishing date, translated via WPML, and today I was notified by the client that the English version is not working.
I just tried to update the translations for the other two languages, and after updating and saving the translation, it still shows that the translation needs to be updated!?
