Background of the issue:
I have English and Spanish installed on my site hidden link and have added Portuguese. The site is set to automatically translate, and we have enough credits.

Symptoms:
Nothing is translated, neither the website nor the WooCommerce products.

Questions:
What am I missing in the steps to follow when installing a new language?

To expedite handling your support requests, please share WPML support debug information from your site. To provide the debug information:

- Login to your site and go to WPML -> Support, click on the “debug information” link at the bottom of the page.
- Once on the “debug information” page, select the entire text box content and copy it.
- Go back to this support ticket, find the debug information box, and paste it.

There are strange things happening.

I have gone to transation management. Filtered all pages in English (default language)
and tried to automatically translate to Portuguese. It doesnt allow me to translate anything automatically to Portuguese. It says that I need to use the language switcher at the top of the page to change to Spanish first. SO I did this and still no possibility to automatically translate to Portuguese.

Any idea whats wrong ?

Hi,

As for now, it is only possible to use automatic translation from the default language to secondary languages.

You would need to switch the default language to English again from WPML -> Languages and use the automatic translation (English -> Portuguese). Once the translations are completed you can change the default language again.
