Hi WPML, Im a bit frustrated now, because an issue has appeard again... but instead of one page (that it was last time) it is now on the whole site! And that is that somehow, WPML has switched the domain languages, again! Thank god thst this site is still a dev site hidden link I guess this has to do with the latest wordpress update? Do you have any fix for this? |

Hello, I have checked your previous ticket, and as I understand your translation got reverted on 2nd language, so you lost the translation, correct? This can happen, if you are manually translating the page, but still have enabled the WPML translation editor in the default language, so when you update the default language page, all translations done manually are lost. Check and make sure you have set the WPML translation editor to OFF and that 2nd language page is not marked as duplicate. Related docs: https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/using-different-translation-editors-for-different-pages/ Regards, |

Hello, I do not think this is related to an update, as I said only way this could happen and be caused by WPML, is when you are manually translating but the translated page is still duplicated or you have enabled the WPML editor. In that case, resaving the default page will revert the translation done manually. The update could have triggered resaving of pages, but I am not sure. Either way, I advise creating a staging site, following my suggestion from the previous reply, to check if these settings are correct, then try to check for steps that cause issue so we can try to check and help out. Otherwise, there is not much we can do other than guess what might be wrong. Regards, |

Ok i think i got it now. But the weird part is that all the pages have the WPML editor ON, and this has not happened before, only one page the motocross page. So i think its weird that the whole domain got reverted to the 2nd language. But should i select the WordPress editor instead on all pages to be on the safe side to avoid this to happen in the future? I send a screen shot on what the Motocross page back end looks like, and there you can see that the motocross page has WPML editor ON. |

Hello, thanks for getting back. Yes, if you're adding translation manually and editing 2nd language pages manually, then you need to select WordPress editor and continue to use that method to add/edit translations. Hope this helps, let me know if any other questions. Regards, |
