[Waiting for user feedback] My webpage with WPML is very slow.

This is the technical support forum for WPML - the multilingual WordPress plugin.

Everyone can read, but only WPML clients can post here. WPML team is replying on the forum 6 days per week, 22 hours per day.

Background of the issue:
The page in the category hidden link works for more than 10 seconds.

Unfortunately this doesn't help. I have a lot of products with multiple variants on my site. Could this be a problem for WPML?

Hello let's try a few steps to understand the issue better:

Please make a backup before proceeding.

1) Install Query monitor plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/query-monitor/)

2) Check load time and number of queries in the top bar. Load time has "s" and queries "Q"

3) Disable all WPML plugins and check load time and the number of queries now

4) Disable all other plugins and leave active only WPML plugins, switch to WP default theme. Check again. If it works fine here, enable back 1 plugin by 1 and at the end your theme, to see what causes issue.

Please let me know how it goes and shares each result with me.

There is a big difference between WPML enabled and disabled.

WPML enabled: hidden link
WPML disabled: hidden link

Thanks for getting back.

Since you are also using a custom theme and other plugins, please check and next and let me know the results:

Disable all other plugins and leave active only WPML plugins, switch to WP default theme. Check again the load time. If it works fine here, enable back 1 plugin by 1 and at the end your theme, to see what causes issue.
