This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: The client was trying to translate a homepage but found that only the page title was showing in the translation. The content was mostly displayed from listings and categories, which had not been translated. Additionally, the client was using a custom Elementor widget from the Listeo theme and was unsure how to enable translation for it.
2. To display listings in both languages without translating them, we advised enabling the 'Translatable - use translation if available or fallback to default language' option. This allows listings to be shown in all languages, displaying the content from the primary language if no translation is available.
3. If automatic translations are not desired, the client can turn off this feature. With the 'Translatable - use translation if available or fallback to default language' option selected, translated pages will still display listings from the primary language.

✙ To resolve the issue, I may need your consent to deactivate and reactivate plugins and the theme, as well as make configuration changes on the site if necessary. This emphasizes the significance of having a backup.
I have a question for this site in general. I don't wish to just transalte my site, I want to make it multilangual, in Slovenian and English. How do I translate ad listings and listing categories? Also, it is possible for the ads to be shown in both languages, no matter the language? If someone submits and listing that is in english or slovenian, the listing must be shown in both languages?
If you want a listing to be shown in all languages, you'll need to trigger the translation or enable automatic translation https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/ . This is how you can enable translations for listings. hidden link . I hope it helps.
So I enabled translations for listings, I can now translate them fine manually, I also did that for categories and so far so good.
But to be cleat, there is now way to show listings on both languages without enabling automatic translations? Thing is, I don't want listings to be translated, I just want them to show everywhere, no matter the listing language.
That being said. If somebody submits a listing in ENGLISH version, and somebody is looking at this on Slovenian site, everyting on the site would still be slovenian hidden link, except the description of the listing - hidden link
If that's the case, you can turn off automatic translation. Then, if the option "Translatable - use translation if available or fallback to default language" is selected, translated pages will display the listings from the primary language for untranslated listings.
