Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate a string, which is the name of a WooCommerce Product Taxonomy via string translation to 2 other languages. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link

Symptoms:
Some string translations are only shown in frontend when "Look for strings while pages are rendered" is active. Instead of seeing "Color", I still see "Farbe", which is the original string.

Questions:
Why are some string translations only shown when "Look for strings while pages are rendered" is active?
How can I ensure the translated string "Color" appears instead of the original string "Farbe"?

I tried to disable all non WPML plugins but the site now has a critical error. Can you check the debug log and let me know what the error is? Then, you can rename the plugins folder and that should allow you access to the site again.

You can also include FTP access in your next reply so that I can do these steps on the beta site while I continue testing.

Hi Lauren

Have you been able to take a look. From day after tomorrow (Thursday, 17.10.) I'll be offline for a week 😉

Best regards, Rasti

Hello Lauren

I will take over for Rasti since he's not here this week. I've set up a development site with an FTP user. How can I make a post private? Otherwise I cant send the login data.

Best regards, Severin

Sorry for the confusion. They are correct but for the admin user "Enzler SSO" is not required, just the basic WP login.

I am still unable to login with those credentials. I'm getting the error "Invalid username or password."

You mean the WP one? I tried all of the credentials and they work for me, so I'm not sure what the issue is.

I was able to login and noticed you are using an outdated version of WooCommerce. Please update WooCommerce and all active WPML plugins to the latest versions. Let me know once that is done and I'll be happy to continue troubleshooting. Thanks!
