This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client needed clarification on their WPML billing method, specifically regarding the Pay-As-You-Go subscription, yearly renewal costs, and the assignment of credits across different sites.
Solution:
We explained that the WPML account renews automatically each year at a discounted rate. The Pay-As-You-Go subscription for Automatic Translation does not have a monthly fee and charges are based on the translation credits used. The first 2,000 credits each month are free, and additional credits are charged according to the pricing table. Unused credits do not carry over to the next month. Payments are processed via Stripe, and WPML does not store credit card information. For sites not using Pay-As-You-Go, credits can be added and do not expire. If credits are assigned to a site using Pay-As-You-Go, they will be used first.

For the specific issue with siteofwonder.de not connecting with the same payment method, we have created a separate support ticket to gather more information and assist further. You can follow the progress here.

If this solution does not resolve your issue or seems outdated, please check the related known issues, verify the version of the permanent fix, and confirm that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. We highly recommend opening a new support ticket if needed.

Hi,
001 = pay as you go is connected with my account.
002 = These are all the sites connected with this card.
003 = 149.00 for yearly renewal? then why did WPML charge me for my translation over the past year?
004 = why it's showing Prepaid Credits 0? Why do I see credit assigned on those websites?
005 = siteofwonder.de is not connected with the same payment method. I did what the previous support told me but couldn't make it work. and I don't get that much free time to look into these issues. so, please fix these issues.

Thank you.

Thank you for your explanation.

As far as I can see, everything is correct. Let me explain.

When you purchase WPML, you get access to a WPML account. Three types of WPML accounts exist: Multilingual Blog, Multilingual CMS, and Multilingual Agency. You are currently using a Multilingual Agency account.

Your WPML account will renew automatically every year, giving you access to new versions of WPML and our support. Account renewals cost 75% of the original price. The price of 149.00 is a yearly renewal with a discount. There will be no more discounts for new accounts, but you still have a special price.

Pay-As-You-Go subscription is for Automatic Translation. There is no monthly subscription fee, and you can cancel at any time.

Here’s how Pay-As-You-Go works in short:

– Each translated word costs a certain amount of translation credits, depending on the translation engine you use (Google, Microsoft, or DeepL).

– The first 2,000 translation credits you use each month are free. If you spend more than that, we will charge you based on how many credits you used beyond that, according to the current pricing table. You cannot carry over unused free credits to the next month.

– Prices are calculated progressively, so the more you translate in a month, the cheaper it is per credit.

– If you didn’t spend any credits in a given month, we simply won’t charge you anything.

– For each automatic translation invoice, you will be charged for any credits you used during the previous calendar month. The billing period starts at midnight UTC on the first day of the month and ends at midnight UTC on the first day of the next month. Invoices are issued, and your credit card is charged on the 3rd of each month.

– WPML does not store your credit card information. Payments are processed via Stripe.

Credits: You do not have prepared credits, as you are on a Pay-As-You-Go subscription. However, you can add credits to any site that doesn’t use pay-as-you-go. These credits do not expire. If you have already assigned credits, you can view them, as you may have assigned them before. If the credits are already assigned to a site that uses a Pay-As-You-Go subscription, the assigned credits will be used first.

I hope this explanation is helpful.

I have created a separate support ticket for question "005" as I might need more information. I will assist here.
