I have now modified the field so that it returns the link URL and modified the code accordingly. I also added an extra field for the button label and added a switch in the code for when it is not filled (that is why you see the 'read more' text in the other languages).
I entered a label text in the label field in the default language and saved the page, but that label is not translated. What is going wrong here?
The website also indicates that there are still 177 translations to review, but when I go to the translations in queue, it displays nothing.
Note that my setting is set to 'Publish now but mark it as not reviewed so I can look at it later.' So this should have nothing to do with the above issue I assume.

Those reviews are available at WPML > Translations. See screenshot.
You can mark the jobs and then use the dropdown filter on the top left to approve the reviews in bulk.
Also, take note that you are currently using "Publish right away but mark as not reviewed so I can take a look later" at WPML > Settings > Automatic Translation.
If you do not wish for any reviews, use the setting "Publish right away without reviewing". This will only work for new jobs.
You will still need to approve the old jobs. There is a filter on the bottom right corner of WPML > Translations that lets you display 100 jobs at the same time.
