[Resolved] Translation content on other languages is wrong
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: You added three new pages to your website and attempted to translate them. However, a code script used for a form is incorrectly appearing on the front end of other translated pages. Solution: First, ensure that the translated pages are displaying correctly by visiting them. We have disabled the 'I prefer bigger segments' option and updated the page in the default language along with its translations. It's important to check if this adjustment resolves the issue. For further details, you can refer to our documentation on similar issues here: WPML Errata Page.
If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, we recommend opening a new support ticket. We also highly suggest checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Background of the issue:
I had just added 3 new pages on a website and I tried to translate them. A code script I used for a form is showing on the front in other translated pages which is not meant to be so.
Symptoms:
Translation content on other languages is wrong. A code script is appearing on the translated pages.
Questions:
Why is the code script showing on the translated pages?
How can I correct the translation content on the other languages?
1) I just added IT to the string to know if the translated string appears correctly.
2) I would need to look closely at your site, so I would need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated.
Your answer will be private, meaning only you and I can access it.
