Hello, do you have special prices for non-profit ?
If I buy WPML plugin, I won’t have to pay anything else to have unlimited translations ?
(I used Polylang and Lingotek, but it was limited to 100000 char, and also I know Google MT and Azure MT).
Hello,
we don’t have any special offer for non-profits. WPML doesn’t translate your content automatically – I’m not sure what you mean by “unlimited translations”.
we have changed to “Wprentals.org” and would like to ask you if WPML is able to translate the email management (booking confirmations, payment reminders, account creation, etc.). Thank you very much in advance.
Hello,
this theme has been tested by our Compatibility Team so you should be able to translate everything but let me double check with the developers if there are any known issue.
The developers say that you should be able to translate all these elements since the team have been working intensively with the theme author to make it happen, there are still a few issues pending but you should be able to translate the features you need. In any case, our 30-day refund policy lets you request a full refund.
Need advice about the ”slowness” i’ve been reading about. Since there’s no ”trial version” , headlines like ”WPML Slowing Down WordPress Admin Drastically” or “wpml slows down server response time” better be talked trough before the purchase.
So, for 4 languages, what kind of server do i need? Imagining i wouldn’t have to think about the cost, give me the better specs please.
I see Minimum requirements for WPML are 128Mb, but several answers on the the forums are about ‘ please increase the memory limit to 256MB’.
Since i haven’t bought anything yet, i’d like to be safe then sorry.
I’m thinking about generatepress theme, elementor pro and wpml here for the translation.
By the way, any known problem whit custom post and taxonomies?
There are a number of factors that influence performance. I think your best option is to purchase and try it. If you are not happy you can request a refund within 30 days of purchase: https://wpml.org/purchase/refunds-policy/
Hi,
I just bought the theme and hour and a half ago. I still can’t login to download the plugin. Is that normal ?
Since I can’t login, I can’t access the support.
Hi, I’m interested in buying WPML plan “Multilingual CMS”. So as I understand first I pay 79$, then after one year to renew my acc(what do I lose by not renewing it?), I’ll have to pay 39$, the next year 39$ again and so on?
1- I’ve seen that the plans you offer will change on may, but currently, the “Lifetime” plan is still amongst the ones you sell. Does this mean that before that change happens I could still buy a lifetime plan with unlimited sites and not yearly renewal?
2- If I pay any of the yearly renewal plans, does this mean that I have to pay yearly to keep the translated sites working, or in the event I stopped renewing I just would stop having access to updates but the sites would still run?
Thanks.
I’m rather new to all this.
If I buy WPML plugin, if it does not translate automatically, then I will have to use also another plugin ? (To translate the pages and posts).
It is confusing…
By “unlimited translations”, I mean that I can translated as many word as i want with Machine Translation, for free, or for a given price.
Or maybe I have to pay for Google MT API or Microsoft Azure API service ?
I would like to know exactly what to do to translate my sites and pages, and if there are other costs or limitations.
Thanks
Hello Eric,
The current version of WPML (3.9.4) doesn’t translate your content automatically, which means that you need to provide your translations or use one of the professional translation services integrated with WPML.
However, the 4.0 version, which is gonna to be released soon (the are preparing for releasing the beta) will include a completely new translation editor which will have machine translations that will need your editing and approving to be used on your site.
All the details will be explained in the upcoming post when we release the beta version.
Making your site multilingual involves two kinds of costs:
1. Setting up the site to be translation ready – this is why you need WPML since there is no native support in WordPress for creating multilingual site
2. Costs of translations – this is beyond the scope of WPML, yet WPML includes features/interface to integrate with translation services and tools.
I’ve few questions below:
1. does the visitor will redirect to his local language automatically or does the user have to choose the language manually.
2. Does this plugin convert header and footer content as well?
3. does there is any page limit or word limit.
4. can you give me some live websites example who using WPML plugin.
5. can we add different images according to language.
Hello,
1. By default the automatic redirections are disabled but you can enable them in WPML settings. May I ask why you need this feature? Providing and using the language switcher makes more sense.
2. It depends on what exactly your header and footer includes. Menu and widgets can be translated by WPML even if your theme is not compatible with WPML. In themes that are fully compatible (please check the list here) you will be able to translate everything.
3. I don’t undestand this questions. WPML doesn’t translate automatically.
4. This one and please check our showcase. https://wpml.org/showcase/
5. Yes, you can.
Yes, you can create a structure like this using WPML. And yes, you can set up an automatic redirection according to the user language set in his/her browser.
Hello,
I see that Genesis themes are compatible, but I’m wondering if these two child themes work well with WPML:
1) Infinity Pro theme
2) Monochrome Pro theme
Also, could you tell me if these plugins are compatible:
1) Yoast SEO
2) WP Review Pro
3) Pretty Links
I cannot see these two themes on the list but unless your themes introduce some additional options that requires translation you should be able to translate everything.
I would like to purchase WPML plan. But before that I have few queries as below:
1)How many languages does it support ?
2)What if difference between Blog and CMS page version ?
3)Can I have a demo before purchasing it ? To know how it is working ?
4)I want to setup two domains for two different languages then does it require two separate WordPress setup ?
5)Do I need to setup specific theme for it ?
Could you please provide answer for these queries ?
Waiting for your reply.
Hello Massimo,

Hi
I manage a site from a previous coder. She used visual composer with WPML, but I’ve removed VC from wordpress and now from the fast translation page I get the “page builder page 2” and its fields vc_custom_heading: text … and the body textarea is not visible.
How is possible to remove all these page builder fields and restore the default mode?
I’ve tried to remove some fields from DB ex. wp_icl_string_packages but I get some errors.
I’ve tried to search some topics on google and on your site but no answers at this moment

I was wondering if there was an option (or an extension) so that WPML display the content in the right language to each visitor without them having to mannually choose their language setting.
The site will be in english but…
For exemple someone living in france should potentially have a content displayed in french?
For exemple a user living france with a browser set to spanish should potentially have the content display in spanish?
Is it possible to achieve with the plugin option, do we need an extension, do we need bespoke code developement for this?
Hi we want to buy WPML Lifetime account but we want to make sure how it works? because our theme is saying that we have to translate each page manually? does it mean we need to upload translated words?? thanks
Is it possible to change images as well as text on translated pages? We have images with a tagline or quote or is area specific that would need to be changed but not alter the layout or format of the translated pages vs original.
I am not sure what you mean by “the images coming from the theme”. The images are uploaded Featured Images or images embedded in the copy.
The US site is the parent site. For example, if a visitor wants to see the Germain site, the home page will be the same layout as the US but the text will be in Germain and the images will be specific to Germany.
I am not sure what you mean by “do the images come from your theme” means. I am referring to the Featured Images and images embedded in content. For example, a visitor lands on the main US site, then clicks Germain as the language. Are the images dynamic too? Not only do we want to translate the language but change out the Featured and embedded images on the page.
Thanks for the details. They help a lot. In that case you will be able to translate these images even if your theme is not compatible with WPML. You just need to buy the CMS package (the starter/Blog package won’t suffice in this case).
I have Purchased the Handy theme Now Everything is Running Good Except i have purchased the WPML Plugins and installed and set Everything there.

Hi Agnes,
thank you for your message. We have already purchased your full version 🙂
Hi Agnes,

Hi, I’m interested in buying WPML plan “Multilingual CMS”. So as I understand first I pay 79$, then after one year to renew my acc(what do I lose by not renewing it?), I’ll have to pay 39$, the next year 39$ again and so on?
Hello,
we have introdiced changes to the subscription policy. You can see it here https://wpml.org/2018/04/lifetime-plan-going-away-favor-annual-renewals/
Best,
Hello. I have a couple of questions:
1- I’ve seen that the plans you offer will change on may, but currently, the “Lifetime” plan is still amongst the ones you sell. Does this mean that before that change happens I could still buy a lifetime plan with unlimited sites and not yearly renewal?
2- If I pay any of the yearly renewal plans, does this mean that I have to pay yearly to keep the translated sites working, or in the event I stopped renewing I just would stop having access to updates but the sites would still run?
Hello,
1. Yes.
2. The second part of your question is correct – renewals are needed only to access future updates and our support help.
I want to use this plug in our websites.
If I purchase “Multilingual CMS Lifetime”, Do I use multiple website?
Yes, you can but please note that this offer is going to expire soon. https://wpml.org/2018/04/lifetime-plan-going-away-favor-annual-renewals/ If won’t affect the users who bought it using our “old” pricing model.
Thanks.
I’m rather new to all this.

I cannot see these two themes on the list but unless your themes introduce some additional options that requires translation you should be able to translate everything.
The list of multilingual-ready plugins is here:

and only the Yoast SEO has been checked by our Compatibility Team.

Yes, that’s correct, you will need to provide your translations since WPML doesn’t translate automatically.
Hi,
Is it possible to change images as well as text on translated pages? We have images with a tagline or quote or is area specific that would need to be changed but not alter the layout or format of the translated pages vs original.

Hi, do the images come from your theme? I mean, are they set up via syour theme options? What theme do you use?
I am not sure what you mean by “the images coming from the theme”. The images are uploaded Featured Images or images embedded in the copy.
The US site is the parent site. For example, if a visitor wants to see the Germain site, the home page will be the same layout as the US but the text will be in Germain and the images will be specific to Germany.

As I replied to the other comment in this case – you will translate featured images and images embedded in your pages without any problems.
