hidden link

"Add to cart" button - all attempts to translate this part have failed. I can't find it. I entered both the template and String translation

There is a problem with this.
cloudways create a work environment - the Hebrew language (hidden link - default) on an external link but the English language on the original domain (hidden link)

Hello,

yes, please allow me some time to check your staging site and issue. I see you added this via the BeTheme template.

Since it is a ticket it takes a bit more time, I will get back to you soon.

Please allow me some patience.

Kind regards,
Drazen

Hello,

I have checked and it seems there are a few things you missed, but still not working after I correct them.

1) Your translated template is in review mode, and you need to translate and publish it. Or you can set that it doesn't need review.

2) You are adding Betheme single product template and Add to Cart element. You need to add HE text there and then translate.

3) Once you translate this text is not showing for translation, and it will need our compatibility team to check this and add the needed code so this text can be translated via the WPML editor.

Related images are below.

4) In order for your compatibility team to check we will need to replicate the issue in a simple example.

You can access the WordPress dashboard using the link below:
- hidden link

Kindly follow the steps below:
- Install the Betheme theme
- Create a simple single product template with Add to cart widget and translate the template

Let me know when done.

Thanks,
Drazen

Hello, I don't quite understand. It is true that there is a template there, but everything is translated and should appear in String translation. I did not translate it into Hebrew because it already appears in Hebrew and should be perceived as a simple translation string.
Regarding your solution, you gave me a link here, I didn't understand what to do with it. If I need to connect to management, how do I do that? I don't have login details for the admin...

Hello,

thanks for getting back, as I have seen before the issue is with the template and translation not being done.

I have fixed and it seems to work fine. So, these are the steps that I have done:

1) Added for translation theme option where you are setting this single product template. (shop-product-template) Then translated and added translated template post ID.

- https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/string-translation/finding-strings-that-dont-appear-on-the-string-translation-page/#strings-arent-selected-for-translation

2) Edited HE single product template and added some string to Add to cart button text, saved, and waited to be translated. Then removed the string again and saved it. This is sometimes needed if you are importing demo content and it is not correctly added for translating.

3) Make sure you have reviewed your translated product template, that the eye icon is not showing anymore, and that the template is now published. Your translated templates are still in Draft mode.

Drazen

Drazen, I want to thank you for your great help. Appreciate it very much!
I partially understood the steps you explained (the translation is in numbers so not everything is really understandable)
I see that the button translation problem is solved!
My question now is, do I have to perform these actions on the other templates that appear as "Draft", yes, now I notice a translation problem and none of the templates or the website.
But I would like to confirm with you whether in any case the status of the templates should be changed except for the "Single product" template which you handled professionally.

TNX!

Hello,

yes, I think all of them should be set to Published and not Draft, if you are going to use translated templates on your website.

You are using translate everything mode / automatic translation and have set from WPML > Settings that these need to be reviewed first. So you need to review them and then confirm the translation and save them.

Otherwise, if you wish to avoid so, I advise setting it from WPML > Settings > Publish right away without reviewing.

Make a small change to the default language template and save it, then it will be re-translated and published.

Regards,
Drazen

Drazen, I wanted to express my sincere gratitude for all the help you've provided me with. Your assistance has been invaluable, and I truly appreciate it.

I do have one last question that I was hoping you could help me with.
Currently, my default site is set as hidden link.
However, I recently set up an additional language (English) version of my site at hidden link (with "www" included).
When I try to access the website without the "www" (i.e., hidden link), I am directed to the website in Hebrew at hidden link.

I am wondering if the issue is with my site's settings, and if I should have installed the English version without the "www." If you could provide any insight on this matter, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you once again for all your help.
