This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is experiencing an issue where the language/flag is English with French text in the WPML String Translation for the Complianz domain (plugin), and the empty text language to fill is French, indicating that both languages are reversed.

Solution:
To correct the language order, we recommend the following steps:
1. Navigate to WPML -> String Translation.
2. Select the checkbox next to the string you wish to translate.
3. At the bottom of the table, click on "Change the language of the selected string".
4. Choose the correct language (French in this case).
This should adjust the flag icon next to the string and set the languages correctly for translation.

Furthermore, to translate the popup content, follow the instructions provided by the plugin authors on their page: Translate legal documents to multiple languages with WPML. The popup content should be translated within WPML -> String Translations.

Hi,

When I search for string in Complianz domain, the language/flag is English with the French text. And the empty text language to fill is French. So both languages are reversed.

Why and how can I fix this?

Thank you.

Hi,

Thank you for contacting WPML Support.

In order to change the languages in the correct order please follow these steps:

- go to WPML -> String Translation
- check the checkbox next to the string you need to translate
- at the bottom of the table, click on “Change the language of the selected string” (please check the image attached)
- select the language you need (French in your case)

This should change the flag icon next to the string and the languages should be correct to translate.

Hi Marsel,

Great, it's working.
But Complianz doesn't change its language in its banner popup in bottom-right. I know it already has all languages in it.
But the Cookies Policy page does change language correctly.
Any clues?

Thank you.

I was able to test by following the instructions from the plugin authors page and I was able to change the popup content language without any problems:
hidden link

The popup content needs to be translated on the WPML-> String Translations.

Let me know if this is helpful,
Marsel
