This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is unable to display the Polish translation of the footer on their website, despite having renamed the Polish footer and being able to locate it via WPML translation management. The footer is integrated using the shortcode '[fl_builder_insert_layout slug="footer"]' in the Customizer.

Solution:
We recommend the following steps to resolve the issue:
1. Ensure you have a full backup of your website.
2. Delete the Polish footer by navigating to Beaver Builder > Vorlagen, switching the language to Polish at the top-bar, and sending it to the trash.
3. Permanently remove the item from the trash.
4. Return to the German version of Vorlagen and click on the '+' sign to add a translation to Polish.
5. Name it 'Footer' and set the type to Footer.
6. Select 'copy content from German'.
7. Create the translation.

After following these steps, the footer should display correctly in Polish.

If this solution does not resolve your issue, or if it seems outdated or irrelevant to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Background of the issue:
I am trying to display the Polish translation of the footer on my site hidden link. The footer is integrated via the Customizer using the shortcode '[fl_builder_insert_layout slug="footer"]'. I have already contacted the support team. I manually changed the name of the Polish footer from 'Stopka' to 'Footer', but it didn't help. Using WPML translation management, I can find it via Footer, but it is still not displayed.

Symptoms:
The Polish translation of the footer is not displayed, even though it can be found via WPML translation management.

Questions:
Is there another place where I can set the name so that the Polish footer is displayed via the shortcode (Customizer)?
Is there a solution to the problem where entering the specific shortcode for the Polish footer in the Customizer displays it correctly, but then for all translations?

Hey there,

Please make a full website backup and follow these steps:

1. Go to WPML > Translation Management and completely translate the Footer Element into all languages;

Check your website in a secondary language. In case it still does not show up, please follow these steps;

1. Go to WPML > Theme and Plugin Localization;
2. Select and Scan your theme;
3. Go to WPML > String Translation;
4. Search for "Footer" and see if there's any occurrence that can be translated;
5. If so, translate the Footer title to the title in the secondary languages;

Let me know how it goes.

Hello,

the footer is translated but it does not show with the shortcode in costumizer (because of its name?)

I did the steps and searched "Footer" but I cant find anything.

I think the problem is, that I have to adjust the name, so the costumizer can find the polish footer.

Hey there,

Thanks for sharing your results. I'm not sure it's because of the name, but I can check that.

I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take a better look at the issue. It would be better to a testing site where the issue is replicated.

You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.

Maybe I'll need to replicate your site locally. For this, I’ll need to temporarily install a plugin called “Duplicator” or "All in One WP Migration" on your site. This will allow me to create a copy of your site and your content. Once the problem is resolved I will delete the local site. Let me know if this is ok with you.

IMPORTANT

- Please make a backup of site files and database before providing us access.
- If you do not see the wp-admin/FTP fields this means your post & website login details will be made PUBLIC. DO NOT post your website details unless you see the required wp-admin/FTP fields. If you do not, please ask me to enable the private box. The private box looks like this:

Thank you. Please share in detail, how the Footer was translated and how it shows on other languages. I need to understand the steps you followed to check what went wrong with PL.

The footer ist translated correctly, as with the other languages. The problem is that it is not automatically displayed on the Polish website. I think there is a problem with adding it via the shortcode in the Costumizer. There the footer is given a general name, which is probably not recognized for the Polish one. The other ones work fine.
Even the Hungarian, although it is named Footer in Hungarian and not “Footer” like all the others. This was also the case with the Polish one at first, but I standardized it.

You can find the footer via Beaver Builder > Themer Layouts and the translations were also created there.

Thank you for sharing. I was able to make the Footer show in PL, in a copy, by following the steps below. Please make sure to have a full website backup:

1. Delete the PL Footer. To do that, go to Beaver Builder > Vorlagen, change the language to PL in the top-bar and send it to the trash. Check image 01;
2. Remove the item from the trash;
3. Go back to the German version of Vorlagen and click on the "+" sign to add a translation to PL;
4. Name it Footer;
5. Set the type to Footer;
6. Click on "copy content from German"
7. Create the translation;

In my tests, after doing those steps, the Footer was shown properly in Polish. Let me know. It's important to completely remove the PL translation from the trash. It needs to be completely erased from the website.
