Hi,

In the past, I am using "Multilingual Blog" version, which allows me to create a translated post and input my text manually just like a normal post.

However, after upgrading to "Multilingual CMS", when I create a translated post, what I will see is always look like this(2023-04-26_14-47-59.jpg).

I do not want to use automatic translation. I want to use the classic editor interface(2023-04-26_14-52-51.jpg
) to input contents for the translated post directly. How to do so?

Hello,

sure, to use manual translation, edit the page or post you would like to translate or create a different design for.

In the sidebar, find the Language meta box, and choose the WordPress Editor to translate the page instead of the WPML Translation Editor. In the pop-up dialog that appears, select This page.

The image attached and related docs on the next link:

Drazen

Sorry but the first time I choose "Wordpress Editor" and it works. But the second time, I can see "Wordpress Editor" is in black, but when I click the small gear, it will still load the WPML editor.

So it seems not working.

Also how to remove a half-translated post? I want to start over.

Hi there.

Per our Support Policy, we can handle only one issue per ticket.

Continuing with one issue per ticket helps not only supporters to focus on one issue at once but also enables other users to find solutions to their questions faster.

I created a new ticket for you in regard to the other question ("Also how to remove a half-translated post? I want to start over.") here:
https://wpml.org/forums/topic/split-how-to-remove-half-translated-post-i-want-to-start-over/

This ticket will remain open and the initial question in regards to using the WordPress editor for a translation will continue to be handled here.

Thank you for your understanding.

Mihai

The ticket cannot be closed. When I choose "Is resolved", it shows "Duplicate content" error.
