This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
You are trying to translate your SEO titles and descriptions using Rankmath for SEO on your website, but when you search your website on Google, the homepage displays an English Rankmath title and description instead of the Dutch ones. Additionally, you cannot find the SEO titles and descriptions in WPML > string translations.
Solution:
We noticed that you are using the browser redirect option, which can cause such issues since Google bots are always redirected to the English page. We recommend disabling this option. You can learn more about how browser language redirect affects Google indexing here: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/automatic-redirect-based-on-browser-language/how-browser-language-redirect-affects-google-indexing/. After disabling, please wait a few weeks for Google to re-index your site correctly. Additionally, checking the source of your .com page should show that the metadata is correct and in the intended language.
If this solution does not resolve your issue or seems irrelevant due to being outdated or not applicable to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If problems persist, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.
