This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You are trying to translate your SEO titles and descriptions using Rankmath for SEO on your website, but when you search your website on Google, the homepage displays an English Rankmath title and description instead of the Dutch ones. Additionally, you cannot find the SEO titles and descriptions in WPML > string translations.
Solution:
We noticed that you are using the browser redirect option, which can cause such issues since Google bots are always redirected to the English page. We recommend disabling this option. You can learn more about how browser language redirect affects Google indexing here: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/automatic-redirect-based-on-browser-language/how-browser-language-redirect-affects-google-indexing/. After disabling, please wait a few weeks for Google to re-index your site correctly. Additionally, checking the source of your .com page should show that the metadata is correct and in the intended language.

If this solution does not resolve your issue or seems irrelevant due to being outdated or not applicable to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate my SEO titles and description using Rankmath for SEO on my website hidden link. I am in the Netherlands, and the default language is Dutch. I have added a Dutch SEO title and description on the Dutch page.

Symptoms:
When I google my website (hetkastkeelke in Meerlo), the homepage displays an English Rankmath title and description instead of the Dutch ones. I cannot find the SEO titles and descriptions in WPML > string translations.

Questions:
How can I fix the issue of the English Rankmath title and description displaying instead of the Dutch ones?
Why can't I find the SEO titles and descriptions in WPML > string translations?

Hello,

I see you are using the browser redirect option, which can cause such an issue since Google bots are always redirected to only EN page.

- https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/automatic-redirect-based-on-browser-language/how-browser-language-redirect-affects-google-indexing/

I would advise disabling this option and waiting for a few weeks for Google to re-index it correctly.

Dear Drazen,

Okay, the page is in Dutch: 'hetkasteelke.com', it does not go to 'hetkasteelke.com/en/', but below it it displays the EN metadata (title/description). Is that still due to the language redirects? Anyway, I have switched it off and will wait for the re-index.

Kind regards,
Kasteelke Vakanties

Hello,

if I check the source of your .com page I can see the metadata is correct and in the correct language: view-source:hidden link

You will just need to wait until Google re-index this all over and it should show same info as in source of page, I shared abouve

Drazen
