This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client reported that after translating the extra description in the category page, the translated extra description is not showing after products.
Solution:
We recommended checking the translation settings for the Extra Category Description field. Here are the steps to resolve the issue:
- Navigate to WPML > Settings and scroll down to the Custom Term Meta Translation section.
- Click Show System Fields.
- Search for "extra." in the Custom Term Meta Translation section.
- Set the translation preference for these fields as shown in this screenshot: https://prnt.sc/tViknd-wqAd4.
- Save the changes.
- Go to WPML > Taxonomy Translation, select Product Categories from the dropdown, and translate the categories. Add the translated extra content for the Category in the translation field and save the changes. Refer to this guide for detailed instructions.
- Clear the caches from the site and browser and check the Category archive.
If the translated description still doesn’t appear, go to Product > Categories, open the translated category, check if the Extra Description is present, and save the category without making any changes.

If this solution does not resolve your issue, or if it seems outdated or irrelevant to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Hello There,
Thanks for contacting WPML Support.

I understand the issue you’re experiencing. It appears that the translation preference for the Extra Category Description field is not set correctly, which is why the Extra Description isn’t displaying on the translated Category archive. Please follow these steps to see if they help resolve the issue.

- Go to "WPML > Settings" and scroll down to the "Custom Term Meta Translation" section.
- Click "Show System Fields".
- In the "Custom Term Meta Translation" section, search for "extra."
- You’ll see several fields listed. Set the translation preference for these fields correctly as shown in this screenshot: hidden link.
- Save the changes.
- Now, go to "WPML > Taxonomy Translation"
- Select Product Categories from the dropdown and try to translate the categories. You should see two additional fields. Enter the translated extra content for the Category in the translation field and save the changes. Since your category descriptions are quite detailed, refer to this guide to help translate the full description. You need to add the category to one of the products and then try to translate the product. The extra data will be visible in the translation editor for translation.
- Once the translation for the extra data is added, save the category translation.
- Clear the caches from the site and browser and check the Category archive. The Translated category should display the translated description.

In some cases, simply saving the translated category has been enough to display the updated content. If the translated description still doesn’t appear, go to "Product > Categories" and open the translated category. Check if the Extra Description is present, and without making any changes, just save the translated category.

I hope the steps will help to display the Extra data correctly in the translated category archive. Feel free to let me know if you need further assistance or clarification on any particular point. I'll be happy to help.

Best regards,
Prosenjit
