Background of the issue:
I have translated a website from English to Arabic using WPML, and most of it worked great. However, on my apartment post type, which has some ACF fields, the slider doesn't work. I also can't translate some fields like buttons. I tried looking on the internet and trying different settings but was unsuccessful. The issue can be seen here: hidden link. I expected the slider to work as it does on the original English version: hidden link.
Symptoms:
The slider on the apartment post type doesn't work in the Arabic translation. Some fields like buttons are not translatable.
Questions:
Why doesn't the slider work on the translated Arabic version?
How can I translate fields like buttons that are not currently translatable?
I would appreciate if you take a look on the setup.
Apartments is an ACF Post Type and we have custom fields added to the post type via ACf inclusive the slider which loops a galler, it looks loaded on the backend but it doesnt let me select. I tried other settings but it also did not work so likely I am missing how to enable the translation correctly for those fields.
thanks, I can see images are correctly shown in the backend so from ACF and WPML side, all is good. But I can not find how are you creating this slider, or if you using some template for this post type or similar?
If I switch to the Genesis parent theme, the page is not showing, so I suspect some custom code is involved? Please note as per our support we can not debug and support custom codded solutions.
Please try to show me the issue with the Genesis parent theme and let me know how can I adjust the apartment slider in the default language or for example change the order of frontend content on that page.
The images and other fields are locked, can you help me understand how can I adjust thosed fields in the ACF editor I need to translate the buttons etc beside the images which are failing, i would like to be able to chose different images for the arabic.
I would please ask if we can concentrate on one issue, since we limit it to keep things and conversation clear. Later we can open and check other issues.

3) You are using WPML editor to translate, if you wish to use the manual translation method, you can set those field groups to different fields per language mode, and then adjust it then manually:
That is all the same issue, they are the same fields which I am not being able to change and I believe that is the reason why the slider images are not showing, so if you could kindly show me how I can make those set of fields translatabled instead of lock including the images would be great. I believe the images might work once we have fixed that.
sure, lets try like that, but please note in that case you will need to translate manually.
So go to your ACF field group and edit it, from top change translation mode to "Different fields on each language " and save, wait some time for these changes to sync.
Edit your 2nd language page and it should work fine now.
