[Resolved] Imported XLIFF files not loading all translations
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: The client is trying to import XLIFF files to their WordPress site, but some sections of the language pages are still displaying in English, despite being translated. Solution: If you're experiencing issues with parts of your language pages showing in English after importing XLIFF files, we recommend the following steps: 1. Send the affected page to translation. 2. Export the XLIFF file for that page. 3. Compare the original XLIFF file with the translated one. 4. Ensure that the
extradata
, including both
resname
and
package id
, are identical in both the exported and translated XLIFF files. For example:
5. Make any necessary changes to the translated XLIFF file, not the exported one. 6. Attempt to re-import the XLIFF file. If this solution does not seem relevant to your issue, please open a new support ticket with us.

Tell us what you are trying to do? Import XLIFF files to my WordPress site. Some pieces of the language pages are still showing in English. The webpage I'm working on is hidden link and it's translated in 11 different languages (with English as the default language page).
Is there any documentation that you are following? I've referred to some documentation that was shared with me in a WPML support chat on August 31, 2023, with Norman.
Is there a similar example that we can see? Not currently. But this has happened before on other pages, which is why I had reached out on August 31, 2023, in WPML Support Chat.
What is the link to your site? lionscon.lionsclubs.org/
There are no commonalities in the segments that are not appearing as translated.
It's the same segments in all 11 translations that are not appearing as translated. However, if I open the XLIFF translation files in notepad, the translations are appearing within the XLIFF file. They just don't appear on the webpage after the XLIFF files are imported in WPML.
With the translation of the hidden link webpage that we have segments appearing as translated, we also translated the below four webpages at the same time. All segments in the below four webpages are appearing translated after their XLIFF files were imported.

Yes, we tried deactivating all the plugins except WPML. But segments are still not appearing as translated.
I guess the xliff you sent me is for hidden link but I see the page empty in the back end. How did you build it? I see a bunch of page builders in the plugin list
Just to confirm, the page was first translated using automatic translation (if I open it in the translation editor I can see the translation completed) then you exported the xliff files for review, correct?
