If the issue persists, I would need to take a closer look at your site. So I would need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed
Your following answer will be private, which means only you and I have access to it.
✙ I would need your permission to de-activate and re-activate Plugins and the Theme and to change configurations on the site if required. This is also a reason the backup is critical.
Also, I noticed that your “WP Memory Limit” PHP limit is below the required 128MB or recommended 256MB as described at: https://wpml.org/home/minimum-requirements/ . Could you please contact your hosting provider and ask them to increase this PHP value for yousc and also, ask them to update the MySQL version to 5.6+?
Did you make any changes,.it's now working on staging but not on the live site (it seems it was working for a bit and then stopped working again)? If not then would that indicate a potential memory issue or script being blocked?
I did not do anything on your staging site. But I can see the issue still persists on your production site here hidden link (it was working before). Are you able to provide access to your production site so that I could check what's going on?
I've checked and I'm able to see the issue now. The settings on your production site look the same compared to your staging site here hidden link
The only difference is the version of the buddyboss plugins/theme. It seems you're using the older version of the buddyboss plugin on your staging site compared with your production site.
Sorry, we would need a site snapshot to continue with the troubleshooting. Or can we have your permission to create a snapshot on our own?
We usually recommend the free Plugin “Duplicator” for this purpose.
If you already know how Duplicator works ( https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/),please skip the following steps and just send me the archive file you downloaded.
If the file is too large (more than 400M), please use the Duplicator file filters to remove the cache, the wp-uploads directory, the media, and the archive files.
Send me the link to the archive file (you probably want to use Google Drive, Dropbox, or similar services, as the snapshot file will be quite big).
Your next reply will be private, which means that only you and I will be able to see it and have access to it.
You can paste the link to the file there.
Once the problem is resolved I will delete the local site.
Hey there I have turned on local backups and they can be found via the sftp access in the following path
applications/<your_application_name>/local_backups
You have a very huge site and I'm having trouble trying to import it using the backup copy.
Is it possible to perform a conflict test on your production site? We'll need to deactivate all unrelated plugins to see if the registration works. If it works, then, we'll re-activate each plugin one at a time to see which one is causing the issue you had there.
I've tested it on our sandbox site with only a buddypress pro and WPML and it worked fine as shown here. So, this seems to be isolated to your production site for some reason.
