How can we resolve the database error when adding a second email to new orders?
I apologize for the delay in responding. I will take care of this ticket; the reply time will be shorter now.
To ensure the quickest and most accurate support, please provide your debug information so I can look at some of your configurations. We have an excellent article on how to locate it here: https://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/.
Based on your description, it looks like certain WPML-related tables in your database might be missing or corrupted, causing the database error when you attempt to add a second email address to the “New Order” notification.
To resolve this, please follow these steps:
❌ Please make a full website backup before proceeding ❌
❌ Ensure All WPML Plugins Are Installed and Up to Date ❌
❌ Check if “WooCommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency (WCML)” is also installed and updated. ❌
1.Deactivate and Reactivate WPML
• Deactivating and reactivating can re-generate any missing WPML tables.
2. Use the WPML Troubleshooting Page
• Go to “WPML → Support → Troubleshooting”.
• Run the following options:
• Clear the cache in WPML
• Remove ghost entries from the translation tables
• Fix element_type collation
• Set language information https://wpml.org/documentation/support/wpml-troubleshooting-options/
If the issue persists:
Please follow the instructions mentioned on this page: https://wpml.org/documentation/support/debugging-wpml/
Then, try to reproduce the issue and check your installation's **wp-content** folder to see if a file named **"debug.log"** was created (it will only be generated if a server error occurs).
If the file was created, please upload it to a platform like **Google Drive** or **Dropbox** (whichever you usually use) and share the link with me (make sure it is publicly accessible) so I can analyze it.
