[Waiting for user confirmation] Syncronise Product Taxonomy
This is the technical support forum for WPML - the multilingual WordPress plugin.
Everyone can read, but only WPML clients can post here. WPML team is replying on the forum 6 days per week, 22 hours per day.
Our wait time is higher than usual, please make sure you are meeting the minimum requirement - https://wpml.org/home/minimum-requirements before you report issues, and if you can take a look at current Known Issues - https://wpml.org/known-issues/. Thank you.
I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take better look at the issue. You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.
Our Debugging Procedures
I will be checking various settings in the backend to see if the issue can be resolved. Although I won't be making changes that affect the live site, it is still good practice to backup the site before providing us access. In the event that we do need to debug the site further, I will duplicate the site and work in a separate, local development environment to avoid affecting the live site.
- Please make a backup of site files and database before providing us access.
- If you do not see the wp-admin/FTP fields this means your post & website login details will be made PUBLIC. DO NOT post your website details unless you see the required wp-admin/FTP fields. If you do not, please ask me to enable the private box. The private box looks like this: hidden link
I agree that it seems like something is interuppting the sync. Please enable the debug log to see if there are any errors, and if you can install a File Management plugin, I'll be able to see the errors myself. if you have a staging site please test in minimal settings 9Only WPML and WooCommerce core plugins with a default theme) to see if the issue is still happening. If you don't have a staging stie, let me know and I can set one up for you.
Thanks I was able to access FTP but we aren't allowed to enable debug log without first getting permission. I enabled it and found the following error:
PHP Notice: Function _load_textdomain_just_in_time was called incorrectly. Translation loading for the
woocommerce-group-attributes
domain was triggered too early. This is usually an indicator for some code in the plugin or theme running too early. Translations should be loaded at the
init
action or later. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 6.7.0.) in /var/www/vhosts/droix.eu/httpdocs/wp-includes/functions.php on line 6114
Please make sure that you have updated all WooCommerce and WPML plugins and if it stil is not resolved, then we will need to test minimal settings to rule out a conflicting plugin or theme (WPML with only WooCommerce and a default theme). This is best tested on a staging site. If you don't have one available for this test, you can create one using something like WP Staging, or you can let me know and I get set one up and get a copy of your site there.
Your Twenty Twenty Five theme is out of date, plus you did not deactivate non WPML plugins. Please test that as well, and make sure the debug log is enabled and rerun the sync. Then check the logs and let me know if you are seeing any new errors.
I registered a new site key for your site after seeing some errors in the advanced translation error log. After that, I was able to complete the synchronization for products and variations in WPML -> Support -> Troubleshooting (in the clean up section). Please let me know if there is anything specific you see that is not synchronized.
If everything is showing as synced, you can create a new key in your own WPML account, as I will need to delete the key that I created since it's not in your account.
