Hi There! Before this thread gets assigned to my colleague, I'd like to offer some initial guidance or potential solutions. I checked the 'Weight (kg): 8.5' segment, and it seems the text was copied and pasted into the editor, which may have added extra formatting. This could be why the text isn’t appearing in the Translation Editor. Please try the following steps and see if they help resolve the issue: - Open the default text in the WordPress Editor. Please give it a try and let us know how it goes. We'll be happy to help if you need further assistance in this matter. Best regards, |

Hi There! I completely understood the issue the first time and provided a response accordingly. The text may contain formatting or classes that could be preventing it from appearing in the translation editor. To resolve this, I recommend the following steps: - Remove the entire text from the default page/post. Please carefully follow these steps, and I hope this resolves the issue. If you need further clarification or additional assistance, feel free to let me know, and I’ll be happy to help! Best regards, |

Hi There, Glad to hear that the suggestion worked! For the segments under review, the default text is formatted using HTML. To save the translation successfully, you must apply the same formatting in the translation using the formatting markers available in the Translation Editor. Let’s take the text "Jaroslav Smidek" as an example. In the Translation Editor, you’ll notice that in the default text, the entire phrase is highlighted with a unique color, which means the text is HTML Formatted. To apply the same formatting in the translation, select the corresponding text in the translation and click on the marker with the same color, which in this case is the "em" tag. Please refer to hidden link">this screenshot for clarity. Follow the same process for all segments, applying the correct markers according to the colors, and then saving the segments. This will ensure the translation is completed without any issues. I hope you can understand. Feel free to let me know if you need further assistance or clarification. I'll be happy to help. Best regards, |

I have tried to apply your instructions to the spaces around "für" (translation) with colours as spaces around "for" (source) - no result. |

Hi There! If you've removed the formatting from the default text, the translation editor should detect this when updating the translation. Could you confirm if you've completed the ongoing translation job for that page before updating the original text? If not, it's expected that the changes won't appear in the translation editor. To proceed, you can either complete the translation job by selecting the space before and after the text "fur" and apply the formatting, or cancel the translation job by going to WPML > Translation Management > Jobs and clicking the "Trash" icon to cancel the job. Once canceled, update the default text and then try updating the translation. The changes should now appear in the translation editor. Regarding your question about deleting the marker: you won't be able to save the segment unless the same formatting is applied in the translation. Even if you delete the marker, it will reappear to ensure the formatting is applied. Please try and feel free to let me know if you need further assistance or clarification. I'll be happy to help. Best regards, |

it seems that different HTML formatting is not a problem, cf. image - NO formatting in translation at all - the segment saved! |
