So usually with beaver builder we duplicate the pages by clicking the plus symbol and fpr content change (like pictures and such) we switch to the newly added language and start the beaver builder from there.

Well for quite same time this hasnt been possible and the beaver support sent me to u guys to ask for help.

would be truly helpful if u could tell me what ive been doing wrong thank you!

Hi Martin,
Thanks for contacting WPML support, I will be glad to help you!

Please make sure that you're following our guide to translate the pages created with Beaver Builder: https://wpml.org/documentation/plugins-compatibility/beaver-builder/ as mentioned in the doc, the recommended method to translate those pages is using the WPML translation editor.

If you're trying to translate only the images, I suggest using the WPML media translation module, please check here for more details: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/media-translation/

Regarding the issue you mentioned, I tested it on a clean installation with the latest WPML version but I can't replicate the same. Please check this recording: hidden link

I suggest trying the following steps and then checking if the issue is resolved:

1) According to the debug info, the WP memory limit needs to be increased. PHP memory is fine, but WordPress uses 40Mb as default. Minimum requirements for WPML is 128Mb. (Kindly check this page https://wpml.org/home/minimum-requirements/)

You can increase it by adding the following code in your wp-config.php file, right before the /* That’s all, stop editing! Happy publishing. */ line:

/** Memory Limit */
define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M');
define( 'WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M' );

2) Create a full backup then update all the WPML plugins to the latest version.

Let me know please if that helps.

Regards,
Mohamed

Hey,

Thanks for the Reply.
The thing is we do have additional content on those pages and we do translate as u mentioned using the translator.
Media Translator ive tried also doenst work as we used Beaver Builder before.
Ive uplifted the limit but still no difference
it doesnt even show the WP Backend options when looking at the frontendpage anymore.
does that have something to do with it too?

Thanks!

Hi Martin,

So you don't see the admin bar on the front end after switching to secondary languages. Please try the following steps:

- Go to WPML -> Languages -> Language URL format
- Check the "Auto sign-in and sign-out users from all domains" option
- Click on the Save button
- Log out and log in again
- Check if the issue is resolved

Let me know please how that goes.

Regards,
Mohamed
