Hello There! Before this thread gets assigned to my colleague, I'd like to offer some initial guidance or potential solutions. I reviewed the links you shared and understood the issue. Since the pages are built using default Elementor widgets, they should translate without any problems. However, this type of issue can sometimes occur if the String Translation plugin is not activated before adding the translation. Could you please open the default page in the WordPress editor, make a small change to the page title, save the changes, update the translation, and then check if the English translation displays correctly? For the popup, please ensure that the popup template is translated following the instructions provided here: https://wpml.org/documentation/plugins-compatibility/elementor/#translating-elementor-templates. Regarding the links, you may need to locate them in the Translation Editor and add the translations. Detailed instructions can be found in this guide: https://wpml.org/faq/how-to-translate-urls-shortcodes-and-html-attributes-using-the-advanced-translation-editor/. Please try and let us know how it goes. We'll be happy to help if you need further assistance in this matter. Best regards, |

Hi Prosenjit, Many thanks for your reply. The issue with the pages that did not display the translated content has been resolved by following your instructions. However, I still can't figure out how to fix the menu popup issue. I have translated the popup template. The header has no fields available for translation. Also, after the fix of the homepage issue, the names of the testimonials are no longer available for translation and remain untranslated. Thank you, Kostas |

Alright, let's focus on one issue at a time: With the popups, are you using a plugin to create this popup? is it an elementor widget and not a thir party plugin? how are you assigning it to the site? If you wish, I could access your site and take a look myself 🙂 |

Hi there! Can you check the page now and see if it works? I applied this workaround: https://wpml.org/errata/elementor-translated-popups-not-displaying-correctly-in-page-builder-container-links/ And it seems that did the trick. Try it out and let me know if there are more issues I can assist you with. |

Oh sorry, It did work before but there's another situation that created this instead: https://wpml.org/errata/elementor-translated-pages-show-stale-content-after-being-updated/ As soon as I set that cache as inactive, everything started working. can you check again, please? |

Hi Alejandro, Many thanks for the quick reply. The menu works correctly now. The only minor issue is that the names on the testimonials on the homepage are not available for translation. Thanks, Kostas |

Hi there! I resent the page to translate and it seems that did the trick, Could it be in the past you tried to translate the names from WPML > String Translation? because I saw it initially didn't appear in the translation editor, but i re-sent the page to translate via WPML > Translation Management and it not only appeared but it seems like it was already translated in the past. Anyways, it's there now and it got translated normally 🙂 |
