This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client was unable to translate certain labels ('Morning' and 'Afternoon') in an ACF group using WPML's String Translation. Despite following the usual procedure, these specific strings were not appearing.
Solution:
We initially requested site access to review the configuration and ensure proper roles were assigned for access. After gaining access, we re-translated the strings in the String Translation interface. To address the issue of strings not appearing, we followed the steps outlined in the guide on finding strings that don't appear on the String Translation page, which can be found here: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/string-translation/finding-strings-that-dont-appear-on-the-string-translation-page/#enable-auto-register-strings.

If this solution does not resolve your issue, or if it seems outdated or irrelevant to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If further assistance is needed, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.

Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate some labels in an ACF group. I followed the following procedure: Go to WPML -> String Translation, select the correct domain of the "acf-field-group-=[x]", and translate strings from EN to NL. I have updated WP to 6.7, WPML Multilingual CMS to 4.6.14, and WPML String Translation to 3.2.15. I followed https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/translate-sites-built-with-acf/translating-acf-field-labels-with-wpml/

Symptoms:
Translated ACF field labels (using String translation) are not reflected in the front-end.

Questions:
Why are the translated ACF field labels not showing on the front-end?
Is there a step I missed in the translation process for ACF field labels?

Hi,
Thankyou for sharing the credentials.

I will need you add the administrator role to the user you shared so I can access the WordPress dashboard and WPML configuration.

Hey Carlos,

I see you already have the Administrator role:

I have translated the strings in String Translation again. Please check if the issue has disappeared.

Hey Carlos,

Thanks! I see most labels are translated, except for all "Morning" (Ochtend) and "Afternoon" (Middag) labels.

What did you do differently to make the labels appear?

Great!

I followed the steps described in this guide: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/string-translation/finding-strings-that-dont-appear-on-the-string-translation-page/#enable-auto-register-strings

I don't understand. What did you exactly do to make the translations appear?

I have tried to translate all labels once again, but the "Morning" (Ochtend) and "Afternoon" (Middag) labels don't come through.

What am I doing wrong?

Hi there,

I can't say exactly what you might be doing wrong, but I can share this link: hidden link and attach a screenshot where you can how I find the strings.

Ah, it seems that these strings were located in other ACF groups, which is quite strange.

But searching for the exact string did yield the results I was looking for, thanks!
