I have created the following page

hidden link

I translated it into English.

The new address for this page shall be:

hidden link

when I open it - 404 pages will display as the English version of the page doesn't exist.

I have discovered that the problem is related to more than one page - several pages are affected, mainly those I created and translated later this year.

You can also go here: hidden link and click any button - all lead to a 404 page, while the English translation for all those pages exists.

Hi,

Thank you for contacting us and I'd be happy to assist.

I recommend temporarily turning on WordPress debugging and checking the server's error log for any errors or warnings.
( ref: https://developer.wordpress.org/advanced-administration/debug/debug-wordpress/ )

In case there are none, you're welcome to share temporary admin login details, for further troubleshooting.

Note: Your next reply will be private and making a complete backup copy is recommended before sharing the access details.

regards,
Waqar

Thank you for sharing the access details.

In the 'Translation Management' section ( WP Admin -> WPML -> Translation Management ), I see several pages, including this 'Poďakovanie - predregistrácia' page, still in the 'Needs updating' status.
( screenshot: hidden link )

You can go to WP Admin -> Pages and click the refresh icon next to this page to complete the translation and then it will be published.

Here is a useful guide on updating translations without resubmitting them to a translation service:

Hi,

I have reviewed all the pages which needed the translation - followed the guide - but now, when I complete the translation - it always show me that these pages need translation. I can do it over and over

I continued testing on my website with similar WPML settings, but couldn't reproduce this behavior.

This suggests that something specific to your website is involved. Do I have your permission to download a clone/snapshot of this website? This will allow us to investigate this on a different server.

Note: The old access link seems to have been expired. Please share the new access link, so that a clone can be downloaded.

Just wanted to let you know that I'm still working on this.

Can you please extend the admin access link for a few more days?
( and yes the website's clone will be deleted once the troubleshooting concludes )

I have extended you the access. Can you check if it is working for you? The link shall be the same.

Thank you for waiting, while I completed the troubleshooting on your website's clone.

The only thing different on this clone was that cache, CDN, and security-related plugins were disabled.

During my tests, the new and existing page translations worked as expected.

Also, on your website, I've noticed that the pages which were showing 404 earlier, are now working.

Have you made any changes to the website's settings since then? And are you still having any difficulty related to the newly translated pages?
