This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
If you're experiencing an issue where WPML wrongly identifies one of the domains as new after a backup and restore, leading to incorrect redirection from .com to .se, we can help.
Solution:
First, ensure that the redirection isn't caused by browser settings, especially if your browser is set to Swedish and you have language-based redirection enabled in WPML. If the issue persists, we recommend re-registering your site with WPML:
1. Visit https://wpml.org/account/sites and remove your website from the list.
2. Add it again and copy the newly generated key.
3. In your website's admin panel, navigate to Plugins > Add New > Commercial Tab and click on "Unregister WPML from this site".
4. Register the website again using the key you copied in step 2.

This process should resolve the issue by updating the site registration and ensuring that any settings causing the redirection are reset.

Please note that this solution might be irrelevant if it's outdated or not applicable to your case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem persists, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.

It seems there is no problem with the redirect as I previously thought. However WPML still thinks I changed adress so the message remains. I'm not sure how to proceed.

Thank you for contacting us.

If the .se is still running, then select the "Yes, this is a copy of the original site" option. Otherwise, select "No, I moved the site to this new address". This should make the migration banner disappear.

If you've followed these steps and the issue persists, please provide additional details about your site's setup and any recent changes. This information will help in offering more targeted assistance.

The thing is it was never meant to be a migration. This thing triggered during a restore from a backup that didn't go as planned.
So .se (and all the other domains) are translations of the original .com adress.
Doesn't clicking Yes, this is a copy - change that setup?

Okay I went ahead and clicked yes, but were unable to transfer the 61662 credits I have available for automatic translations. Please advice.

Hello there,

My name is Lucas, and I'll be your supporter for this ticket. I checked your website, and didn't get any redirections. I also checked it on redirectchecker.com, and there were also no redirections identified there. If your browser is in Swedish, and you've set language-based-redirection for WPML, that might be the cause.

As for the license and credits, it's best to re-register the website. Please follow these steps:

1. Go to wpml.org/account/sites and remove the website from the list;
2. Add it again and copy the newly generated key;
3. In your website's admin panel, go to Plugins > Add New > Commercial Tab and click on "Unregister WPML from this site";
4. Register the website again, with the key you copied in step #2;

That should do the trick. When you remove a website that has credits in wpml.org/account/site, the credits go back to the account and can de re-assigned. Let me know how it goes.
