Background of the issue:
I am trying to update the content of my original language Astra footer, but it gets replaced by a German translation of an old version of the footer. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link
Symptoms:
The original language footer content is unexpectedly replaced by a German translation of an old version.
Questions:
Why is the original language footer being replaced by a German translation?
How can I prevent the original language (English) footer from reverting to an old and German version?
I have replaced the line suggested by the fix and it seems that it might have partially fixed the problem but a part of English footer got again translated into German almost immediately after updating the footer back to English from the last unintended translation.

I don't mean this part where the code was changed. I mean this:
a part of English footer got again translated into German almost immediately after updating the footer back to English from the last unintended translation.
I suppose this happens in the Customizer or wherever you see this change happening?
Could you try replicating the issue? I’m wondering if a caching or other plugin might be influencing this. We recently had a similar case where NitroPack was the culprit, though I see you’re not using it.
Unfortunately I don't have the opportunity to disable the server side caching while I am traveling (still for a month). Could you set up a Cloudways server instead.
