I'm trying to change the look of the switcher (make it a dropdown and show flags with native languages) but it seems like the changes of settings are never saved (actually there's no save button in this section) and then it shows on my site only the default switcher (i.e. the one without flags and in an horizontal display instead of my choice of dropdown list).
While waiting for one of my colleagues to help you, please review the following:
Certain themes have an automatic language switcher added through their code once WPML is detected --- When you go to WPML->Lanugages->Menu language switcher IF you delete the language switcher from there does it still show in thee front end?
If yes, your theme might be adding the switcher through their code.
Also, try going to WPML->Languages->Custom language switcher -> enable & edit --> does that help?
Previous problem was solved with WordPress support team. The Submit button on your support page doesn't work so I can't close this issue. I have another issue though... The translated home page (switching from English to French) takes more than 1min and 10sec to load.
