This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client created English content in the theme and translated it into French via String Translations, but the new translations were not appearing on the front end.
Solution:
1. Navigate to the

wp-content/languages/wpml/

directory and delete files named "nm_theme_options".
2. Go to WPML > String Translation, find and select the string, and delete it.
3. Access your theme settings while in the English version and re-save your top bar text.
4. Return to WPML > String Translation and re-translate the string.

Background of the issue:
I've created English content in the theme and translated it into French via String Translations. However, none of the new translations show on the front end. I've tried extending the memory limit and resaving, but still nothing. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link

Symptoms:
New string translations are not showing on the front end.

Questions:
Why are the new string translations not appearing on the front end?
What steps can I take to resolve this issue?

Hello,

we managed to find the problem and fix your issue, please follow the next steps:

- Go to your wp-content languages folder and /languages/wpml/ and delete files that have the name "nm_theme_options"
- Go to WPML > String translation, find and select the string and delete it
- Go to your theme settings, make sure you are in EN, and re-save your top bar text
- Go to WPML > String translation and re-translate the string.
