Tell us what you are trying to do?
When activating the WooCommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency Plugin, we see a huge spike of database calls in the backend, which results in performance issues, when we are working in the backend (e.g. the shop orders page). When the plugin is inactive we have around 1100 database calls on the shop orders page, if the plugin is active it's over 14000.

Is this expected expected behaviour?

Hi there,

Thank you for sharing this information, our team can definitely take a closer look at this performance issue.

First let's make sure the foundational tasks are done

- Update WPML and add-on plugins to the latest versions available https://wpml.org/downloads/

- Increase WP Memory Limit to 500M
https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/increasing-the-wordpress-memory-limit/

- verify that WooCommerce is updated to the latest version

- Review this WC feature and see if you can enable it as it has been seen to greatly increase performance for WC sites

Let me know your results, please.
