Hello,

Thanks for your reply.

I can see the the items in the library can be translated now.

I still have an error with the blog page.

All other pages seems to launch the WPML Advanced Editor, but the blog page is not launching the same interface ...

hidden link => you can try to translate by clocking on the gears here

Let me know ,

Thanks

Hi,

The blog page uses WPML's Classic Translation Editor and the Advanced Translation Editor. This could be because, in the past, this page had been translated with the Classic Translation Editor. It is related to the settings in WPML -> Settings -> Translation Editor -> Editor for translations previously created using Classic Translation Editor. It is set to 'Classic Translation Editor (recommended)'. We recommend keeping it this way and finishing the translations of the blog page with Classic Translation Editor.

Is it possible for you to continue with the Classic Translation Editor?

Otherwise, you can delete those translation jobs in WPML -> Translation Management -> Jobs. Please see the attached screenshot. And then retranslate them. I hope that the Advanced Translation Editor will show this time.

Regards,
Itamar.

Hello,

I have cancelled the jobs and try to translate again but it does not show the new translation interface.

Moreover, the Portuguese translation is raising an error and this is impossible to translate it.

I would prefer not to use the old translator interface because I do not know the behaviour and I am afraid ot make a mistake.

What can we try to do ?

Thanks

Hi,

I'm sorry, but I'm still unable to access your site. The Wordfence plugin is blocking my access. Please see the attached screenshot.

I watched your video. Thanks!

Please proceed with the following.

Please, try the troubleshooting section.

1. Take a backup of the DB of your site.

2. Go to WPML -> Support -> Troubleshooting (link)

3. Once on the troubleshooting screen, press the following buttons and check if it helps. Press each button at a time and wait for the process to complete.

- 'Disable cache for language switcher templates'

- 'Clear language information and repopulate languages' button (if it is showing)

- 'Clear the cache in WPML'

- 'Remove ghost entries from the translation tables'

- 'Fix element_type collation'

- 'Fix WPML tables collation'

- 'Synchronize local job ids with ATE jobs'

- 'Synchronize translators and translation managers with ATE'

- 'Assign translation status to duplicated content'

- 'Set language information'

- 'Reset languages' Press this button only if you didn't add a custom language!

- 'Fix terms count'

- 'Fix post type assignment for translations'

- 'Cleanup and optimize string tables'

- 'Clear invalid strings'

*** Please make a backup of your database before using this.***

If the problem persists, please share WordPress's debug log (not WPML debug information) with us. Please check this page for instructions.

https://wpml.org/documentation/support/debugging-wpml/

To enable it, open your wp-config.php file and look for

define('WP_DEBUG', false);

Change it to:

define('WP_DEBUG', true);
// Enable Debug logging to the /wp-content/debug.log file
define('WP_DEBUG_LOG', true);
// Disable display of errors and warnings
define('WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', false);
@ini_set('display_errors', 0);

After this, repeat the action that causes the problem on your site -> Try to translate the BZlog page into Portuguese. The errors will be saved to a debug.log log file inside the /wp-content/ directory. Then please share the errors with us.

Please note that my weekend is Friday-Saturday, and I'll be able to continue to check this issue and help you on Sunday.

Regards,
Itamar.

Hello,

We have not seen any attempts to login, that what Wordfence told me.

The process seems to complicated for me. I am afraid of doing bad things.

Okay I understand your working hours.

Hi,

Thanks, I could access your site.

I didn't get the error when translating the Blog page into Portuguese. I got the Advanced Translation Editor, and the translation was already completed. Please see the attached screenshot. Now, the Blog page can also be viewed in Portuguese here.
