I am trying to: get back the original translated page

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link

I expected to see: The translation of the homepage

Instead, I got: A translation of a different page

Hi there,

It seems more of a theme options issue, if you scroll down the Hebrew page you will see that the content of the English page is translated and shown but the style and layout are different which leads to the conclusion that the theme options in Avada are messed up for Hebrew.

Please follow the steps below depending on which theme option style you want to have to use the same style for both languages:

https://wpml.org/documentation/theme-compatibility/using-wpml-with-the-avada-theme/#setting-theme-options

After that, please do as follows:

- Go to your Dashboard > Pages.
- Open the edit screen of the original page. You should see a pencil/circle/gear icon in the sidebar options under the "Languages" section.
- Make a small change, for example, add an extra blank space at the end of a sentence/paragraph.
- Save it.
- You should now see that a circular arrow appears beside the 2nd language links, this means that an update is required.
- Edit the translation again and save it up to 100% translated.

Thanks.

I tried to do that, but according to the backend, it has not been translated. When I try to translate it by clicking on the language +, it takes me to a different page that has already been translate, but it is not the correct page. It's pointing to the wrong page and I can fix it by translating it.

Hi there,

Sorry for the late reply, we are experiencing unusually high traffic in our queue and doing our best to keep up.

So if I understand correctly, you click the translation of the homepage but it goes to another page translation?

I will need to check that. I'd appreciate it if you could give me the URL/User/Pass of your WordPress dashboard after you make sure that you have a backup of your website.
It is absolutely important that you give us a guarantee that you have a backup so if something happens you will have a point of restore.

Make sure you set the next reply as private.

Hi there,

Thank you for the login information. I clicked the pencil icon next to the omeage and it redirected me to the classic editor and there it seems to be indeed content of the homepage showing.

So I do not see the problem about the wrong page for translation.

Maybe I am checking a wrong page? Would you please tell me if you see other thing than what I described?
