This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client was translating their shop page to Croatian using WPML and encountered an issue where WooCommerce reverted to English after adding string translations.
Solution:
We replicated the steps the client took but did not encounter the same issue. We recommend the client to verify if the problem persists on their side. If the issue continues, we advise retracing the steps taken during the translation process and checking the results. If the problem still exists, it might be due to a temporary glitch which was resolved by disabling and enabling all plugins, as mentioned by the client.

Please note that this solution might be outdated or not applicable to your specific case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the issue persists, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum for further assistance.

Background of the issue:
I was translating our shop page to Croatian language using WPML. I added the language normally, and WooCommerce was almost all auto-translated to Croatian. I tried to translate some missing terms via 'String translation'.

Symptoms:
WooCommerce language reverted to all English after adding string translations.

Questions:
How can I prevent WooCommerce from reverting to English after adding string translations?
Why does this issue occur when translating missing terms via 'String translation'?

Hey there,

I followed the same steps that you showed in the video, and the issue did not happen anymore. Can you please verify on your side, if everything is working as expected?

If not, please tell me the steps you took to test it and what was the result.

Hm... strange, I did nothing but disable/enable all plugins and now it's ok ... Thanks
