Hello WPML staff,
I wonder if you can give me some hints to face this situation:
The website has a basic language (IT) and a second language (EN).
I would like to add english translations to already existing products in italian.
Can I accomplish this through WP All Import Pro + your connecting plugin?
In practice, simple and variable products in italian already have their own quantities.
What I would like to do is just add the basic data of products in english, WITHOUT having to specify stock data in the impor file.
Is it feasible? Do you have any hint, or a tutorial page for this?
Thank you.

Hi,

Thank you for contacting us and I'd be happy to assist.

The import of WooCommerce in a selected language can be accomplished through the 'WP All Import Pro' and our add-on 'WP All Import Multilingual'.

We have a detailed documentation on how to use this extension at:
https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/wpml-all-import-plugin-website-import-with-wpml/

I hope this helps and please let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

regards,
Waqar

Hello, thank you for your answer.
I did check the resources linked, but they do not seem to cover the situation I have specified:

The site has IT + EN languages;
IT products are available, EN products not yet;
Can I import just EN translations for the existing IT products?

EN imported translations should NOT include quantities, as they are already available in the existing IT products.

Is this feasible?

Thank you.

Thanks for writing back and yes this should work fine.

As long as the original language products (IT) versions have the correct inventory/stock data, you don't have to import it with the secondary language (EN) products.

WPML automatically synchronizes the product inventory data across the languages, as explained here:
https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/woocommerce-multilingual/#inventory
