I am trying to: edit a translation. All posts are translated automatically, and I'd like to edit a translation. When I click on complete I get this error:
We're sorry, but something went wrong.
If you are the application owner check the logs for more information.

Thanks for contacting WPML forums support. I'll be glad to help you today.
Could you please check if this error happens to all posts/pages or this page only?
Also, please check if the issue persists in a minimal environment. Kindly check the following steps:
1- Deactivate all the plugins except WPML CMS and String Translation.
2- Switch for a moment to a WordPress default theme like Twenty Twenty-one.
3- Clear the site's and server's cache
4- Edit the post and its translation
If the issue is gone, activate them one by one to see which one is causing an interaction issue.
❌ Please backup your database before performing the above test ❌
Thanks for your update. I would need to look closely at your site, so I would need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP)
– preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible –
in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.
Your next answer will be private, which means only you and I can access it.
❌ Please backup your database and website ❌
✙ I would need your permission to de-activate and re-activate the Plugins and the Theme and change configurations on the site. This is also a reason the backup is critical.
✙ I also need your permission to take a local copy of your site to debug the issue without affecting your live site.
Thanks for your cooperation
Regards,
Osama
