I have send my client an export of English to French translation with the Xliff 1.2 export.
They send this to translation bureau which translated them and I have imported them which works fine.

But stupidly they used the same export to translate them from English -> Spanish and English -> German. Now if I would import these files they would all overwrite the EN -> FR translations which is not wanted.

Is their mistake fixable by me to remap the ID's of the translation or do the xliff files contain to much specific code to remap this?

Kind Regards,

Marco

Hello Marco,

you can change translated XLIFF ID to match the default not translate XLIFF file, and then when you upload it will be matched accordingly.

Please check next:
