Tell us what you are trying to do?
Example: I edit the Services page in french using the Editor wheree your see both FR and EN side by side (Advanced Editor). Then I go and manually edit somee text using the wordpress editor gutenberg. It saves correctly and can see the changes on the front end, then afteer a while, like 10 min or so (not sure how long), it reverts back to the automatically translated version. Dont know why it keeps doing that. Its driving us crazy, we manually translated it 3 times and keeeps reverting.

Is there any documentation that you are following?
I try to read documentation when i dont know what to do but dont have a particular doc which i am reffering to.

Is there a similar example that we can see?
The Services page. But it's happening on other pages too. The homee page i know for sure did not have this issue.. dont know why.

What is the link to your site?

Hi,

Thank you for contacting WPML support!

When you say "Then I go and manually edit somee text using the wordpress editor gutenberg", are you doing this for the translation or the original? If for the translation it will not work, please see this:

Yes, this is what I meant. Editing the translated version (fr). Based on the Article you sent me, I got a bit more understanding of how it works. But I still cant figure out how to do the following actions properly.

1. Translate a page from En to FR
2. Make edits using Advanced Editor
3. Make edits (directly in the wordpress editor) of certain words or blocks placements (ex: image to the left instead of right)
4. Save page

Can you please let me know how I could go about doing this properly. It's driving me crazy, we lost so much time re-editing the same pages..

Thanks

Basically, my simple question is: How do i make an edit in WordPress editor, after having translated my page with the advanced wpml eeditor.

Hi,

Such workflow is only possible if you use manual translation mode. So you can go like this:

- Translate your page in advanced translation editor first
- after you complete this, switch the translation to manual mode where you can modify translations manually:
https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/using-different-translation-editors-for-different-pages/#when-to-use-manual-translation

You can read in the above document on how this works and why both cannot be mixed.
