Background of the issue:
I am working on a multilingual website using WPML and would like to know if it's possible to conditionally hide links that point to content which hasn't been translated yet. I am using relative links.

Symptoms:
I could not find an answer in the forum and documentation.

Questions:
Is it possible to automatically hide or remove links in my content if the target of those internal links does not have a translated version available in the current language?

Thanks for your patience.

I was preparing a report and I noticed that the links on this page hidden link works now. Did you correct it?

Could you replicate the issue again so that I could continue to escalate this for you?

The second link works as expected, yes. However, the first links still point to the German version. Hence, my question if there is a way of either not showing links on translated pages that target untranslated original sites or redirect to index page of translated language.

Thanks for your reply.

Regarding your question, "not showing links on translated pages that target untranslated original sites or redirect to index page of translated language."

not showing links on translated pages that target untranslated original sites - No this is not possible.

redirect to index page of translated language - Yes, this can be done using the "Hide Language" feature as explained here https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/hiding-languages-on-the-front-end/ . However, you can only hide secondary languages and not the primary language.
