Tell us what you are trying to do?
I'm using Avada as page builder. The website is in 4 languages, nl_be, nl_nl, fr and en. The nl_nl version of the website, should show different content about certifications then the other languages.

To accomplish this, I made the container with the content about certifications into a global container. Then in the Avada library, I translated the content from the base language (nl_be) into fr and en, using the advanced translation editor. For the nl_nl translation, I switched to wordpress editor for translating, and created the correct content, but when I save that page, everything is cleared from the page, and I get an empty page. Even if I get some content into the page builder with some trickery, it isn't displayed on the page and everything disappears after saving it.

So, from Avada > Library > Global > Certificeringen -GLOBAL > Edit, I created translations for EN and FR using the "Language" menu on the right side. For NL (Nederland), I created a translation using the language toggle on top of the page, but this doesn't save content, and just shows the default NL (België) content on the front end.

What is the link to your site?
hidden link -> "Onze certificeringen"
hidden link -> "Onze certificeringen"
hidden link -> "Our certifications"
hidden link -> "Nos certifications"

Hello There,
Thank you for contacting WPML Support.

I understand the issue you're having and will try my best to assist you in this matter.

When you manually translate a post, the translated version will be linked to the original post. As a result, any changes made to the original post will be reflected in its translated version.

To display the translation correctly and break the synchronization, kindly open the manually translated page and ensure you've selected the "Translate Independently" option. Kindly check the documentation below for more information.

- https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/using-different-translation-editors-for-different-pages/#how-to-use-manual-translation

Once you've clicked on the button, add the contents manually again and save the changes. I hope it will help.

Let me know how it goes. I will be happy to help if you need further assistance in this matter.

Best regards,
Prosenjit

Hi,
Thank you for your response.
I had no option to "Translate Independently", as the translation was not duplicated.
However, this time, switching to "Wordpress editor" dit work, and I could create another version of the content block for nl_nl. Strange that it didn't work on friday.
