Background of the issue:
I am using WPML on my site hidden link to translate text automatically.

Symptoms:
No specific issue or error message mentioned.

Questions:
When I translate some parts of the text automatically, does WPML count the total translation again?
What is the difference in translation with the new Beta AI version?
Are words that have already been translated saved in WPML to avoid being translated again, or does everything count again even if the same words are used?

Hi,

Thank you for contacting the support. Meanwhile one of my colleagues attends this ticket for further help on the matter, please consider following answers to your questions:

1) When I translate some parts of the text automatically, does WPML count the total translation again?

If a content has already been translated and you add/change some text, then only the new changes are charged for automatic translation, due to the Translation Memory feature. However, sending a content (i.e a post or page) for the first time, will include everything and is charged accordingly.

2) What is the difference in translation with the new Beta AI version?

I'll recommend checking this article for an understanding about WPML AI.

3) Are words that have already been translated saved in WPML to avoid being translated again, or does everything count again even if the same words are used?

If you're using Advanced Translation Editor (ATE) or Automatic Translation, then the translations are saved in the Translation Memory (see #1) and is reused accordingly.

Regards.
