This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You are unable to change the URL on the Portuguese side of a page after changing it on the English side.
Solution:
If you're experiencing this issue, we recommend using the Quick Edit feature. Simply hover over the translated page or post in your dashboard, click on Quick Edit, and then update the Slug field with the translated version.

Please note that this solution might be outdated or not applicable to your specific case. We highly recommend checking the related known issues, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem persists, please open a new support ticket.

Background of the issue:
I am repurposing an older page and I have changed the URL on the English side of my site, hidden link, but I cannot change it on the Portuguese side.

Symptoms:
I am unable to change the URL on the Portuguese side of the page.

Questions:
Can you help me learn how to change the URL on the Portuguese side?

The fastest way to change the translated page slug is by following these steps:
- Edit the page in the original language
- Switch to the secondary language using the language switcher that appears in the admin bar (top)
- Manually change the slug of the translated page and save the changes
- Check if the issue is solved

Note: There is an option in WPML -> Settings -> Where you can decide how to translate the slug of the posts/page and if you need to change more slugs, then I recommend you set the option to translate the slug when the content is translated (not automatically)

Do you mean that you want to translate the slug, or?

You can do it through quick edit. Hover over the translated page/post and click Quick Edit and then update the Slug field with the translated version.
